Rotary Club Sunrise of Road Town jumpstarted September's breakfast meeting with the focus on Adult Literacy. This was then culminated with the installation of President Faye for a second term and wished IPP Ron much success in his career abroad. The focus during September is Literacy and today's speaker Ms. Careen Cuffy-Jules focused on Adult literacy and the successes of the ASEP’s programme, noting a significant impact education plays in the community for vulnerable individuals. "Notably the programme provides opportunities of learning for all including incarcerated persons who graduate from the programme" said coordinator Ms. Careen Cuffy-Jules . President Faye ( Faye Smith Penn ) admonished members that charity begin at home, within the club and encourage them to remember "service above self" must be the catalyst for change. Love empathy caring and greater engagement will help Sunrisers to make a meaningful impact in their society.
